Dogging Course*

CPCCLDG3001 Licence to perform dogging

This unit covers the skills and knowledge needed to safely undertake dogging work. Dogging involves using slinging techniques to move heavy loads. This includes choosing and checking lifting equipment, and guiding a plant operator when they are unable to see the load.

The successful completion of this course results in a statement of attainment for the unit CPCCLDG3001 Licence to Perform Dogging.

Rigging Course*

CPCCLRG3001 Licence to perform rigging basic level

This unit outlines the necessary skills and knowledge for safely carrying out fundamental rigging tasks. Riggers employ mechanical equipment to shift, position, or secure various loads, such as machinery, equipment, or parts of a structure. They are responsible for ensuring the stability of these components and for assembling and disassembling hoists. Before enrolling in this unit, you must hold the CPCCLDG3001 Licence to Perform Dogging unit or hold a valid dogging license.

The successful completion of this course results in a statement of attainment for the unit CPCCLRG3001 Licence to Perform Rigging Basic Level.
