Facility and Resource Requirements

In order to conduct quality training and/or assessment at your workplace we need to ensure you have the following resources. If you do not or cannot arrange for the items listed below, contact us or note this under special requirements (just before submitting) as we may be able to arrange as required.

A well maintained counterbalanced forklift that has been checked regularly for faults (?)

An area that can be used (exclusively) for theory training – for example an office, a lunch room, etc. that can accommodate the number of staff and the trainer (?)

An Area that can be used (exclusively) for practical training / assessment – must have pallet racking (low , medium and high) , loads that can be used for shifting, and an area where a small chicane can be set up (As a GUIDE - minimum width 3.5 m and minimum length 8m – contact us for assistance) (?)

Course Option

Option 1 - Pre-course workbook (may take up to 3-4 hours for staff to complete before training date) followed by 1 day of training at your workplace then 1 day for assessment in the workplace - usually 1 week later to allow for study, practice on the forklift under supervision and great pass rates.

Option 2 - Pre-course workbook (may take up to 3-4 hours for staff to complete before training date) followed by 1 day of training at your workplace then 1 day for assessment at our training facility (we run assessments almost every day)

Option 3 - Pre-course reading followed by 2 days of training at your workplace then 1 day for assessment at your workplace - usually 1 week later to allow for study, practice on the forklift under supervision and great pass rates.

Option 4 - Pre-course reading followed by 2 days of training at your workplace then 1 day for assessment at our training facility - we run assessments almost every day

There is a maximum class size of 10 people. If you have more than 10, your students will be organised into groups of 10, so please choose a training date for each group.
