Construction & Induction White Card

Who is this course for?

It is a requirement that everyone working on a building site in Australia or works in some jobs that has certain levels of requirements towards safety, to hold a Construction Induction Card, now known as a 'White Card'. Successful completion of this course will allow you to work on a building sites or roads in Australia.

The White Card is valid for all of Australia and was previously known as a "Green Card".

To participate in this course:

• You must be at least 14 years of age to commence the course
• Have a thorough understanding of both written and spoken English
• Have 100 Points of ID (see Your ID requirements below)
• Must wear closed shoes (no thongs or sandals allowed)

Where is the course held?

The course is run over 1 day (8 hours including breaks and lunch and Assessment)

Bankstown: 8.30am - 4pm every Monday and Friday.

Blacktown: 8.30am - 4pm every Monday and Wednesday

• Identify OHS legislative requirements.
• Identify construction hazards and control measures.
• Identify OHS communication and reporting processes.
• Identify OHS incident response procedures.

Time to Arrive?

You must arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time for registration and ID check. All courses close for entry 30 minutes after the scheduled start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late you will not be admitted and a rescheduling fee applies. See terms and conditions.

How much does it cost?

The cost for White Card course is $79. An additional $20 is payable at the completion of your course for processing of your actual white card. (This is a fee that NSW WorkCover charges and not Licences 4 Work).

Further Assistance

Licences 4 work will provide access to learning support services and resources to assist participants to achieve the course learning outcomes (e.g . Interpreter services). If you needaccess to these services please contact the centre manager prior to the course date. (Fees mayapply).

You’re ID – special ID requirements have been set out by work cover

You are required to show the accredited assessor original EOI documents that add up to at least 100 points. Original documents MUST be provided. Certified copies will not be accepted.

• The combination of EOI documents must contain your date of birth, current NSW residential address, photograph and signature.
• If you use more than one credit card, savings account card or statement, they must be from different financial institutions.
• If you use more than one utilities bill, they must be from different utilities providers.
• All documents provided must contain your name in full, not just your initials. The only exception is a council rates notice.

Terms and Conditions

• If you fail to attend, the course fee is non refundable.
• If you are sick on the day of the course and can support this with a valid medical certificate you will be rescheduled to the next class at no extra charge.
• If you reschedule your course with more than 7 days notice, then no fee is applicable and this can only occur once.
• If you reschedule your course with less than 7 days notice, than a reschedule fee of $50 is payable.
• If you are more than 15 minutes late or don’t have the correct identification you will not be admitted into the course and there is no refunds applicable.
• If you cancel your course with more than 7 days notice, then you may apply for a refund.
• Refunds must be applied for in writing by completing a Refund Course Fee Application Form, which is available from our office.
• All courses must be completed within 3 months of the original booking date.
• If the course fee was paid by a third party, the third party will be refunded the course fee.
